• Steelwedge leads the market for integrated business planning solutions and many of the world's most respected enterprises use its solution but to standard users could not use its current platform. So our project was to research and deploy ActiveX with its platform so that even non-admin standard users can also install and use the current platform. We modified AXIS service and also made a bootstrap executable program to successfully deploy ActiveX integrated with their "Tango" platform.
• The project involved working on various technologies like jsp,.NET,C,C++,Java,ActiveX framework and also involved working and handling of web servers like Tomcat,Weblogic and solve some complex problems and give easiest enterprise solution.

• With the goal to work for the betterment of society and instill the spirit of social service among the young students, IIT Roorkee established NSS at institute level, headed by Dean of Students Welfare, IIT Roorkee.Currently, NSS, IIT Roorkee has over 700 active members from different disciplines, working rigorously for community health care, literacy drives, and environmental protection. Blood donation camps, AIDS awareness camps, informative lecture on Human values are organized regularly. A total of 8400 hours dedicated by only 1st yearites to NSS IITR, this year. As highlighted by the motto ' Not for me, but for the nation ' the aim of the organization is to produce engineers, who are socially responsible, and work for the development of nation.
