• Worked on facilitating the maps team in Booking.com. As part of my core role, I was responsible for setting roadmaps for the team, maintaining team dynamics along, facilitating team members in their career growth.
• As a backend engineer, I'm responsible in optimising the maps for end users to help enhance booking. Building APIs to provide the necessary data which can later be displayed on the map view to help customers making their decision easier for booking the right property for them. As part of technology, I largely used PERL to write the APIs along side with some frontend technologies such to render the map.
