I am a Computer Science student at Stony Brook University (starting Fall 2018; intended to complete by December 2019). My interests are Distributed Systems, Data Science, Machine Learning. I have experience building reliable backend infrastructure and solutions which will automate the tasks to reduce human effort. I have experience working in Go, Java and Python and Databases MySQL, MongoDB and Redis. I am a quick learning and diligent software engineer having a constant drive of updating myself with new technical information. I have 4 years of work experience before I started pursuing Master's degree. I have worked in Samsung Research Institute, India for 1 year as an Engineer in Audio kernel team of Samsung smart phones. I worked for 3 years in Testbook which is an EdTech startup as a Backend Developer which exposed me to a lot of technologies (Go, Python, MongoDB, Redis, Elastic Search, BigQuery). I was promoted to Tech Lead in 2017 and I led the Backend and Infrastructure teams in the company. I did my Bachelor's in Computer Science and Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay which is one of the top institutes in the country.
