• Implemented a search plugin for MediaGoblin which is a part of GNU Project. The plugin allows users to search for their uploaded media content. The work involved implementing a backend data indexer and a web interface that allows users to interact with the search indices via search queries.

• Project: zc.buildout for Development and Deployment, Unit Testing and Quality Assurance
• Developed a python based unit and functional testing framework for e-cidadania which is an Open Source project aimed at providing an e-platform for citizen participation. The project involved using the nose testing framework and extending the Django testing utilities to create a framework easy and intuitive enough to write tests for e-cidadania. Various other tools such as pep8, pylint, coverage were integrated to check code styling conventions and common programming errors.

• Wrote unit tests for the Open Source project Melange which is the website that powers the Google Summer of Code program. Melange is mainly based on Django web framework and is hosted on Google App Engine. The work involved reading the existing code, writing unit tests to test both the views and logic and increase test coverage.
