• >> Led and Managed the AMLS (Anti Money Laundering Suite) product of Tookitaki. AMLS is an AI/ML-based solution for detecting money laundering cases and patterns, for more efficient management for potential money-laundering transactions.
• >> AMLS performs secondary scoring to identify the transactions that are likely to be (and the ones that are not likely to be) Money Laundering transactions (through Transaction Monitoring and Name Screening and pattern recognition (Shared Typologies)), leading to more effective regulatory STR/SAR (Suspicious Transaction/Activity Records) filing by Banks and more effective reporting of Financial Crime activities to Regulatory authorities like MAS of Singapore.
• >> We use supervised learning and unsupervised learning, to assign a secondary score to each Suspicious Transaction/Activity, that has been scored/screened by a Primary scoring (Rules-based) system. This enables reduction of case volumes by more than 40% with a false positive of less than 3%.
