• Rest API for Syndication
• We exposed rest api based URLs to our partners to show product results for any given search request for a keyword or product. Supported XML & JSON format for the results.
• Cobrand and Silhouttes
• Cobrands and Silhouttes is product from Nextag which enables merchants to have their own online comparison shopping portal, like nextag.com(our in house shopping portal)
• I worked for Implementing modules & requirements to support rebranded version for these cobrands.
• Implementation of Rule system
• Worked for designing the Rule system and implemented it to make sure that no search request in Nextag is out of compliance.
• Environment: JAVA, J2EE, JSP Servlets, Javascript, HTML, MySQL, Rest Web service
• Traffic team modules:
• Migrated certain key modules to HBase and Hadoop framework and wrote Map Reduce implementation to handle the huge data processing.
• Owned Several reporting modules (involving both back end and front end) with complete lifecycle of downloading the reports from Google, MSN and Yahoo and aggregating this data to extract the useful information to show as reports.
• Migrated Certain Key modules to Hibernate.
• Implemented various back end jobs & task having designed algorithms and processing data as requested by Campaign management team.
• Upgraded Google Adwords, MSN Adcenter, Yahoo JAPAN specific session Web service implementations few times.
