• Part of Linux Video Driver team. Experience in all facets of product development life cycle from gathering requirements, designing call flows,

• Kernel development:
• Led design and development Perceptual QP feature to enhance the video encoding perceptual quality by distributing the normalising parameter’s value across the frame in such a way that the perceptual quality of the frame is increased without much increase in the
• bitrate of the video stream.
• Worked with many customers (Samsung/HTC/Sony/Motorola/China CMCC and rest of word) for enabling various video features and issues.
• Debugged and validated modules from Android’s multimedia framework to device drivers during board bring up’s of proprietary Snapdragon
• chipsets.
• Implemented V4L2 extended controls and configured device drivers for video decoding and encoding.
• Worked on Virtio based environments as part of pre-silicon development of video.
• Automation development:
• Instrumented Android builds to capture code coverage using Bulls Eye and GCOV tools that identified the unexercised code.
