• MicroMobility is the next big thing in Mobility domain which aims to provide riders an alternate low cost and environment friendly transportation option while also decongesting cities. My team is focussed on building an integrated booking experience used by riders to rent e-bikes, e-scooters, e-mopeds etc. in the core rider app through a scalable platform for our MicroMobility partners around the world to easily integrate with Uber.

• High Capacity Vehicle is the next opportunity for Uber for growing the rider base to the “Next Billion Users”. Uber is very committed to reach out to these next billion users who are yet to experience the comfort and convenience of an Uber ride and are waiting to enjoy that experience at a price point which makes economic sense for them.
• My team’s charter is to scale the ‘Supply’ for HCV while providing a seamless and consistent experience to the drivers, Uber operations and fleet managers. We own the end to end supply ecosystem with solutions ranging from efficient bus-stops/route creation, fleet management and driver assignment on these routes, driver app experience etc.

• Tech lead for the Rentals charter of Vehicle Solutions org. We built the driver-partner onboarding flows and drove the third party integrations with rental companies to create a vehicle marketplace for drivers who want to drive on Uber platform but can't afford to buy a vehicle.
• As part of this team, I drove the API integrations with multiple large scale rental companies across the world and architected the Rentals Platform which provides a generic API toolkit using which any rental company can integrate their rentals operations with Uber in a seamless and efficient way.

Jan 2016 – Aug 2017 · 1 yr 7 mos

• Founding engineer for Uber Bangalore Engineering centre and kickstarted the efforts for Vehicle tracking and telematics platform. Developed the software ecosystem around tracking and real time monitoring of the vehicles using GPS and telematics signals to ensure the compliance and safety for riders and drivers using these vehicles. This ecosystem also played a crucial role to alert Uber operations team for any possible frauds and violations happening on the ground.
• We created scalable data ingestion, processing and analytics pipeline which was build using multiple open source technologies like Samza, Kafka, Oozie, Spark, HIVE etc.
