• At MakeMyTrip, I spearheaded the re-architecture of the Common Connector Module to integrate with Global Distribution Systems, tackling challenges in managing content, availability, pricing, and booking across multiple hotel suppliers. This re-architecture streamlined the integration process, reducing supplier onboarding time from 2 weeks to just 3 days and significantly enhancing system scalability. Additionally, I designed and implemented orchestrator services to optimize backend operations, ensuring high availability and reliability for the hotel booking ecosystem. These advancements boosted operational efficiency and accelerated supplier integration timelines.
• To enhance customer experience beyond static landing pages, I designed and developed "Cosmos," MakeMyTrip's personalization engine. Cosmos became the core of MMT's ecosystem in 2017, driving sales, personalized recommendations, upselling, and cross-selling across all lines of business, contributing to a 3% increase in GMS. The system was extended to deliver personalized notifications via SMS, app alerts, and emails, ensuring consistent communication across channels. This architecture leveraged multi-layered user, cohort, and source-destination caches to achieve low latency (P99: 450ms) despite relying on high-latency APIs for hotels, flights, and holiday packages (P95: 7 seconds).

• A key achievement was the development and launch of a Classroom Teacher Dashboard, enabling educators to track and analyze student progress effectively. Additionally, I automated the elastic scaling and downscaling of AWS servers by analyzing historical trends, which reduced operating costs and minimized manual overhead. To streamline server management, I integrated Slack-based scripts, allowing commands like "add x servers" or "remove x servers" with validation for capacity limits.
