Currently working under Google Research to build AutoDialogue systems solving various universal task oriented dialogue related problems. Previously worked on Natural Language Understanding for Google Assistant at Google's Neural Semantic Parsing group. Before that I worked on building Conversational AI systems for voice and chat interfaces like Siri, Google Assistant, Walmart AskSam app, etc, solving use cases catering to domains like In-Store associate's assistance, Customer care of Walmart.com, Google business chat for Walmart stores, Grocery and General Merchandise shopping in US, Canada, UK, Mexico, monthly serving up to millions of queries per region. I graduated from Language Technologies Institute at Carnegie Mellon University with a Masters' in Artificial Intelligence, and worked on projects including Image Detection and segmentation, Speech Recognition, Generative Adversarial Attacks, Multimodal Machine Learning, while also publishing at the NeurIPS 2018 conference workshops SecML and VIGIL on GAN based adversarial attacks on Visual Question Answering models.

Simral worked on designing and development of a reconciliation engine for financial transactions of the firms' clients. Her role involved identifying relations between financial instruments and their granularities, thereby implementing the logic for reconciling them on several granular levels. She also worked on query and service optimisation to accelerate fetching of data from database to UI.
Besides working on several sub-modules of projects, she worked end to end in a team of 3 people, to develop a Purchase Order Workflow system for the firm.
