My journey into the world of GIS started with an unexpected twist - I lost a quiz because I couldn't answer a question about Amelia Earhart. Determined to learn more, I went home, researched her flight route, and stumbled upon ArcGIS. That moment sparked a passion so strong that I left behind five years of education in accounting and commerce to dive into this exciting and niche field. Today, as the founder of FloData Analytics, I lead a pro-tech, tech-agnostic firm where we believe that technology can elevate any business by solving unique, industry-specific challenges. FloData stands for Finance + Location Data, and what began as a simple idea during the pandemic has grown into a thriving company, all thanks to a dedicated team I’m incredibly proud of.
