As an Automation Test Engineer at Incaendo Technologies, I am responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of web applications through a combination of manual and automation testing. I work closely with developers, product owners, and project managers to test educational platforms used by schools and publishers (e.g., Schand Group).
Key Responsibilities:
1. Test Planning & Design:
i. Analyze requirement documents (BRD/FRD) and design comprehensive test cases and scenarios.
ii. Prepare and maintain test documentation including test plans, test cases, and traceability matrices.
Manual Testing:
2. Perform functional, regression, UI/UX, and integration testing across multiple modules such as User i. Management, Role & Permission, Category, Book Creation, and Question Bank.
ii. Verify data correctness using SQL queries and validate backend changes.
iii. Report bugs and track them through JIRA with detailed logs and replication steps.
3. Automation Testing (Web):
i. Develop robust test automation scripts using Selenium WebDriver with Java and TestNG.
ii. Follow Page Object Model (POM) for reusable and maintainable test code.
iii. Implement data-driven testing using Excel-based data input.
iv. Generate detailed HTML reports using ExtentReports for execution summary.
4. Flutter Web Automation:
i. Build integration test scripts using Flutter Driver to automate Flutter web applications.
ii. Use ValueKey locators for reliable widget identification.
iii. Automate complex flows like login, user creation, tag management, and role/permission configuration.
iv. Generate consolidated reports and logs, including pass/fail/skip status, screenshots, and execution duration.
