About

I'm Ralf, an AI robotics enthusiast and co-founder of Sereact. At Sereact, we're building embodied AI that generalizes across use cases and robot platforms. Through AI-powered control software, we empower them to perceive and understand their environment, adapt, and learn. The founding of Sereact was rooted in my conviction that the transition of AI in robotics from an academic to real-world application is overdue. I am convinced that advancements in AI and robotics significantly augment human capabilities, allocating monotonous and boring tasks to robots.

  • My research focusses on the combination of decision theory and machine learning, motivated by applications in robotics. The goal are learning robotic systems that are able to reason about their own state of knowledge (based on visual and tactile perception) and decide which actions might yield the most informative future data, make them learn even better and solve problems.
