Drawing on personal experience, the talk explored how to effectively implement Navigation in existing and new projects, including designing single-activity apps and leveraging nested graphs. Attendees gained the knowledge and confidence to embrace fragments and navigate their apps with proficiency using the latest advancements in Jetpack Navigation.

• Teach Kotlin to play well with Java - Optimization tips for Interoperability
• A talk on bridging the gap between Java and Kotlin in Android development. It provided Kotlin developers with practical tips and techniques to ensure seamless interoperability with Java codebases, facilitating smoother collaboration and a more efficient transition for teams adopting Kotlin.

• Led a dedicated project team of 5+ Android and iOS engineers to deliver the award-winning Zoho
• Assist and Zoho Meeting mobile product lines, owning the architecture, modularization, quality, and
• release lifecycle.
• Architected and built the flagship Zoho Assist Android app from scratch, designing custom
• algorithms to solve complex performance challenges related to remote screen scaling on mobile
• devices with minimal latency. This work grew the app to 1M+ downloads and contributed to
• exponential revenue growth.
• Drove the mobile strategy for real-time communication by architecting and delivering a foundational
• WebRTC SDK. This required a deep dive into low-level video/audio encoding and streaming
• protocols and was adopted by multiple high-traffic Zoho applications, saving significant duplicated
• engineering effort.
