About

Since 2018, I've led the engineering team that scaled Snap's Ads Manager from a basic tool into the engine driving 85% of our $5.1B+ in ad revenue. I joined as a Tech Lead for 10, stepped up to management during the pandemic, and scaled the org to 26 engineers, EMs, and tech leads. My role is to wrangle controlled chaos, coordinating with 10+ product teams to execute a massive roadmap—we committed to 82 projects last half alone. I guide the technical strategy for a 2M+ line TypeScript codebase, deciding when to make long-term bets and when to take thoughtful shortcuts. My core belief is that you scale impact by scaling people, which is why I designed our team structure and grew the next line of leaders from within. I advocate for the advertiser, define the win conditions, and herd some (very talented) cats. Ultimately, I thrive on building elegant platforms and the high-performing teams that bring them to life.

  • I lead the Media Planning engineering team within Netflix's rapidly growing Ads organization. Some of our key challenges include building GenAI-driven tools to understand advertiser RFPs and create media plan recommendations. We are also developing API-first integrations to allow agencies and partners to manage their media planning via their own tools , all while creating highly efficient internal workflows by integrating deeply with core platform services like Forecasting, Pricing, Product Catalog, and Ads CRM.
  • We are actively hiring! I am looking for talented Fullstack, Backend, and UI Engineers with domain experience in Media Planning, Ad & Campaign Management, or Demand Side Platforms (DSPs). Please feel free to send me a message if you're interested in building the future of connected TV advertising.
