I was part of the core team of Fulfillment Business team , which was responsible for processing of order from the time of its creation to handing it over to the delivery team.
Primarily worked on backend in a microservices oriented architecture.
Following are the prime modules that I worked on:
1) Invetory And PickerApp : Worked on the new Inventory model which included changing DB design along with the business logic of new Inventory model.PickerApp provided orders to the pickers in a queue like model.It provided details like name and quantity of the medicine along with handling edge cases in which physical quantity is not matching the quantity in Inventory.
2) Procurement Service : Integrated with partners like CSquare and MediBox. Bulk purchase order(PO) of medicines was sent to these partners and the progress was tracked through data received from API's which in turn was used to track the SLA of PO.They used to fulfill the 12 hrs SLA which in manual procurement was more than 24 hrs.
