With over 15 years of experience in building AI/ML systems, I’m passionate about empowering teams to use data and ML to drive transformative business success and customer impact. I hold a PhD in computer engineering with a focus on AI/ML, and have been the recipient of several awards and recognitions throughout my career. Currently at Meta, working on ML/RL/LLM SOTA modeling across retrieval, ranking and bidding. Prior to that at Amazon AGI, my focus was in the conversational AI and generative AI/LLMs space, leading search and entity information retrieval and ranking for Alexa Local Search, speech recognition improvements across international locales, and lastly LLM grounding for Alexa+. As an AI/ML educator, I have founded Big Data Quality AI, which has empowered over ~500k individuals with industry-focused AI roadmaps to make the right choices when it comes to data needs and AI/ML solutions. My mission is to leverage data-driven insights to solve complex challenges across different verticals, and bridge the gap of AI/ML/data science and public understanding.
