About

Hi there, I'm Himansu Didwania. I am an ML engineer at Sarvam.ai, building GenAI for India. At Sarvam I work in the speech team, specifically working on building Text-to-speech models for Indian languages. My prior experience includes ML Engineer at AI4Bharat - where I worked on some exciting problems in domains of speech and NLP, and ML Engineer at Skit.ai, where I contributed to building intelligent conversational systems. Additionally, I co-founded Dreamscale AI, an ambitious venture focused on AI solutions, but unfortunately, it didn't take off. My strong inclination towards research and love for tackling challenging ML problems has been the cornerstone of my career. During my undergraduate studies, I had the opportunity to work as a research assistant in the Image and Video Processing Lab at IIIT Bhubaneswar and the Robotics Research Center at IIIT Hyderabad. Apart from my technical pursuits, I am also keen on entrepreneurship and aspire to create a startup that can address real-world challenges.
