Also operated at scale, developing and leading products for India's largest e-commerce platform, Flipkart. Google Maps - Real World Model (Places data)
2 billion users rely on Google Maps to explore places such as restaurants, shops, monuments, offices, schools and hospitals. Data such as their contact information, operating hours, exact location, product offerings, availability of certain services are all critical to enable users in their journeys of finding, exploring and experiencing these places.
My team works on state-of-the-art AI and ML models, sifting through a torrent of unstructured data sitting across multiple signal sources, to keep up with consumer demand of such increasing data needs about places, keep it high quality and most importantly, fresh. This helps power multitude of Gen-AI experiences across Google surfaces such as Search along with Maps.
My work is critical to make Google Maps the most amazing platform to discover local places.
