About

The start-up of my own company presented unique challenges as I was studying my Business Studies degree. I decided to present these difficulties by using them as a focal point for my dissertation, with the basis of the research project pertaining to the barriers to entrepreneurial start-up activity. I was pleased to achieve 1st class honours on the project and decided to continue working on the business post-graduation. Keep Me Natural is on track to record a profit for the first time since it's inception. This is primarily a reflection of countless hours of independent research and adapting to consumer trends. Solely based online, the company has a clearer focus. Keep Me Natural is currently selling wigs and hairpieces under one of our subsidiary brands. I strive to exceed consumer expectations and the feedback in regards to the quality of the products and service has been hugely flattering. During my time as founder I have also held a temporary sales role that reflected my target driven background, competitiveness and resilience. I consider myself very personable and have learnt of the importance to building long-term relationships with clients. I remain as the director of Keep Me Natural, but my role does not interfere with the interests of my employer.

  • During my penultimate year of University, I decided the focal point of my dissertation would be barriers to entrepreneurial start-up. Quickly realising a research project on this would have proven difficult without facing these barriers myself, I decided to start my own online business: Keep Me Natural.
  • In the nascent years of Keep Me Natural, the niche offering was clear. Specialising in natural cosmetics for hair and skin, the idea arose from the rise in allergic reactions to chemical ingredients, including formaldehyde and parabens. Not only providing high quality, natural cosmetics for professional and personal use, Keep Me Natural aimed to empower men and women alike.The key objective remains for our consumers to love themselves through the use of our products, as opposed to receiving chemical treatment which has proven to be deeply corrosive for the health of one's hair and skin.
