• Led the redesign of the SDN architecture to enhance overlay networking reliability by focusing on minimizing redundancies and implementing robust error handling mechanisms. The objective was to preemptively mitigate potential outages stemming from unreliable VTEPs, thereby enhancing the overall stability and resilience of the network infrastructure.
• Implemented a High Performance Profile for ESX TN to streamline and simplify the complex process of tuning for optimal performance. Tuning ESX TN for high performance is normally a complex process. So this profile facilitated the goal by providing an ability to apply predefined and customized tunable knob settings to achieve enhanced performance benchmarks.
• Developed and deployed a periodic task to ensure the efficient management of logical ports within NSX MP. This task involved detecting and removing residual ports that remained after operations such as VM power-offs, deletions, or migrations. By preventing the accumulation of redundant ports, the initiative addressed potential issues related to port thresholds.
• Collaborated with cross-functional teams spanning multiple business units and geographic locations to coordinate feature development.
• Managed time-sensitive critical customer escalations and addressed high-priority bugs promptly and effectively.
