• I Worked in three different teams in Amazon during span of five years.
• 1. RETAIL PRICING, is responsible for generating prices dynamically for products which amazon offers. Prices are generated using different inputs provided by downstream systems like product price, promotions price, markdowns price, competitors price etc. The key challenge is to provide lowest price to customer and keeping price in sync with competitor’s price.
• Prices are computed dynamically and MILLIONS of product prices are computed/re-computed every day. My job include building some of core systems and make price computation efficient.
