From Wall Street to Main Street, I’ve built a high impact career across finance, risk management and strategy. At the moment my focus is on early stage companies, both as an investor and operator, where I support their growth and apply my expertise to navigate uncertainty across a spectrum of potential outcomes. Head of Risk & Finance at Tola, a fintech backed by Sequoia and Y Combinator that exited to Square. I joined pre-launch, built the risk, compliance and finance functions, our supply chain financing business, and stepped up to lead initial activation efforts to 100+ customers. I helped business owners optimize their financial operations and cash flow every day. Previously, I spent 12+ years at Credit Suisse across investment banking and trading. Notably, I started the Equity Data & Analytics team, served as Americas Cash Equities Chief Risk Officer, and was a founding member of the Global Markets Trading Risk, Global Equities Strategy, and M&A Contested Situations teams. From structuring capital markets transactions, to successfully defending a corporation against Carl Icahn, presenting to the NY Fed, and firefighting in a dynamic markets environment, I was fortunate to learn directly from accomplished executives early on. Started investing in startups in 2018 across industries around the globe. Co-founded Halo Labs, an invite-only community of operator angels. We’ve backed 45+ Y Combinator companies since 2020, and aim to apply our professional expertise to empower the next generation. Deeply committed to community impact, I’ve served on non-profit boards for 7+ years including currently at SF Baykeeper. I started the Tahoe Lead Removal Project, a community effort that successfully pushed for removal of 6+ miles of inactive lead cables in 2024. MSc in Risk Management from NYU Stern, BA in Economics from University of Chicago where I started on the football team.
