• Part of Turo's platform and performance team I have been working on upkeep of a few old legacy services and mainly focused on performance improvements on the core platform backend. Have been getting our APIs and databases to communicate in the most efficient way while clearing out some of the bottlenecks with respect to network, infrastructure and design based.

• As a senior member of the cross cutting team I have the opportunity to shape the technology direction of Pearson. • As part of Ordering and Allocation team I have started to phase out legacy monolithic old ordering systems. In this process of modernization we are moving towards micro services and serverless architecture focused on cloud. I work on REST based Spring Boot/Data apps over Docker and Kubernetes, using gitlab for its CI/CD, AWS Aurora and a Cassandra cluster deployed on AWS EC2s as our data store while we publish change log to a Kafka Cluster.
