• Worked with clients in financial domain to enhance and develop their suite of business critical applications. The clients are some of the biggest investment banks and financial institutions of time. I have played various roles in the duration of 5 years, some of the key roles performed in this duration are:
• Have worked on suite of applications that operate in back office of investment banks.
• Responsible for setting up delivery team to deliver strategic application that have been envisioned to be the future state of bank (retiring the old legacy systems).
• Established processes to ensure smooth functioning of newly setup team – SCRUM meetings etc.
• Involved in day to day development tasks and used TDD and BDD techniques to ensure the quality of deliverables is maintained.
• Played key role in architecting the overall solution.
• Provided application support in production environment meeting required SLA.
• Managed multiple SIT and UAT environments and participated in Dress Rehearsals and Disaster Recovery runs as and when required.

• Java/ J2EE, IBM Websphere Application Server, JBOSS.
• Worked in key product i.e. Cincom Eloquence from scratch. Product was a document generation system that would cater to huge number of copies once template for document is approved and applied on top of given set of data. The system had complexity of delivering generated documents over various delivery mechanisms to end users.
• Being in this organization I was:
• Single point of contact with IBM whose v6 of Websphere Application Server Suite was being used by us (first by any customers of IBM across the globe). This meant various challenges were tackled with right from setting up application server to making sure people in team are adapting to it besides various challenges faced.
• Responsible for setting up MQ as the middleware that was used as mechanism to transmit messages between distributed components of the system.
• As a product the solution was supposed to be compatible with various backend i.e. SQL Server/ Oracle/ DB2/ Tiger (Cincom’s in house OO database)

• Java/ J2EE, IBM Websphere Application Server; worked in multiple roles in this organization. Besides other things one of the key achievements of mine was to contribute into revenue generation of this organization by getting a new client on board Qualtech via my previous contacts.
• I was involved in one of the early initiatives for development of social networking portal that had 2 faces of the application – the end user and administrative front.

• Java/ J2EE, ASP, Visual Basic, COM etc..
• I started my software development career from this organization, being in here was a unique experience as I leant the most basics of how to develop commercial software here.
• I started as trainee in the organization and graduated to become and architect by the time I left this organization. I accumulated vast amount of experience by working in various technologies – right from ASP, VB 6, JAVA, VC++ and Coldfusion.
• Being in Magic software I had the ownership of developing a product i.e. Virtual Classroom and also worked with some of the key clients of this organization and delivered precisely to requirements.
