Image Upload Pipeline:
Architected a client-first asset flow with validation and Base64 preparation on the browser, then uploaded directly to S3 (up to 10 MB). This moved CPU-heavy image processing away from the backend, reduced server load, and simplified scaling.

Architected and built a full-featured reimbursement system using React, Node.js/Express. Employees can now submit, track, and approve expense claims via a clean, step-by-step UI, cutting average processing time for 80+ staff and delivering real-time status updates.
Clock-In/Clock-Out System:
Co-developed an attendance tracking solution with React Hooks, featuring biometric-style time stamps for users and the admin side as well, automatic overtime calculations, and admin reporting dashboards replacing manual sheets.
Backend Migration & API Re-engineering:
Led a cross-functional effort to migrate the legacy ed-tech backend from MongoDB/Express to Firebase’s real-time database and Authentication services. Rewrote 20+ RESTful endpoints as Firebase Functions, redesigned data schemas for sub-second sync, and seamlessly integrated new APIs with the front end.
Security Enhancements:
Identified and resolved critical security issues involving localStorage, cookies, and session management, ensuring sensitive data is properly cleared and protected to prevent unauthorised access and enhance overall application security.
