• ● Built and managed a world class 100+ engineering org working on a full stack B2C(Dineout) and B2B(Inresto) product for the restaurant industry.
• ● Built the engineering leadership at Dineout by hiring a bunch of architects, managers and senior engineers. Managed the entire technology stack including backend, frontend, QA, security and devops engineering.
• ● Delivered the product experience and managed technology for the Great Indian Restaurant Festival(GIRF) at Dineout in the months Feb 2019, Aug 2019, Feb 2020 and Mar 2021. This is the flagship event of Dineout which is heavily marketed resulting in 5-10x traffic during these months. Made the team benchmark and optimize all applications for sub 50ms latency and set up proper monitoring systems to manage incidents.
• ● Created a microservices architecture for the B2B product Inresto and scaled it by integrating with multiple logistics partners, POS partners, online ordering aggregators, accounting and bookkeeping products.
• ● Digitized the sales and customer support process at Dineout by implementing Salesforce and Docusign.
• ● Made Dineout ISO 27001 compliant and Inresto SOC 2 compliant.
