About

Judhjit is currently a Staff Software Engineer and Solutions Architect at Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME), the world's largest derivatives exchange headquartered in Chicago. He's been with CME for almost 5 years now working across different domains such as Business Process Improvement, RPA, Distributed Systems, Consumer Web Frontends and Post Trade. His work primarily revolved around Java and setting up ultra low latency applications using Kafka until he moved to the Distributed Systems team. He currently works on React/Ionic front-ends and Spring Java backends for a large scale trading application. Setting up Websockets from scratch and optimising their performance is his current area of interest. He has a major in Computer Science and Engineering from RV College of Engineering, Bangalore. He has worked on a couple of ML/AI projects, the prominent one being ‘Sentiment Prediction for Movie Reviews using Convolutional Neural Networks’ during his penultimate semester. He's interested in research in the field of Software Development, Data Analytics, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence. He has been freelancing as a graphic designer since he was 16, and has worked on numerous projects. He’s also worked with ZOEY PetCare, a bootstrapped pet-tech startup out of Bengaluru for a year and a half. During that time he helped setup operations, and managed the Marketing and Design team.
