• Disk Management v4 - Build v4 APIs project for disk entities (HDD, SSD, NVMe) in Java, C++ & Spring-Boot framework for fetching statistical and time series stats from Insights Data Fabric. API’s aid to support functionalities such as Clean & Repartition disk, Toggle device LED ON & OFF & mark a device usable/unusable, and much more. Extensively developed the architecture design to support RPC network calls from various micro-services via Mercury fanout call. Developed a new RPC endpoint in the cluster to be listened to by the HADES server to act the APIs via Prism Element UI/UX.
• Degraded Disk Detection - Developed a cronjob for the data ingestion pipeline for parsing and collecting Device Stat and CPU IOStat data from millions of customer clusters via the Collector Framework Service. Designed the statistical models to detect disks degrading in up-to 30 days in the future. Develop a Python program that consumes data every 14 days from Snowflake, maintains the snapshots, segregates and filters the data and acts as input to build a machine-learning model for faulty disk detection.
• Disk Management Service - Debugged 20+ disk-related issues as part of the Core Device Management team, HADES;reduced customer support issues by 25% and eliminated many recurring issues. Enhanced Big-bang component branches and Nutest Automation Tool with 50+ codebase improvements and saved 20+ hours per week by automating manual processes. An active member of the ON-CALL support team.
• Core Python 3 Migration - Being a part of the core Python 3 migration team and EL8. Given tech talks on unit tests and onboarding folks for the migration process.
