About

I have a Master’s (research) degree in Mechanical Engineering with specialization in Dynamics & Controls and 14 years of experience in helping automotive OEMs & Tier-1 suppliers apply Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) in their vehicle development activities. For the better part of my career, I played a lead role in their development of dynamically validated plant models towards troubleshooting existing products, getting early insights into an upcoming product's performance and in facilitating controls development. In my initial years, I played an active role in the shift to model-based controls development, particularly Verification & Validation (V&V) and Control Design / Algorithm implementation. I have had industry-relevant research experience in rigorous academic environments. Centered around modeling of system dynamics & controls, these were foundational experiences that helped me in later years to confidently lead projects with significant technical uncertainties, limited background information & support. I am an avid programmer interested in leveraging programming languages (MATLAB, Python) towards efficient processing / analysis of Simulation data / results. After a satisfying 3-year break for family & community work, I am raring to go beyond my comfort zone - Version 2.0 !
