I started working at 17 as an entrepreneur, and I’ve been hooked ever since. While still a student at BIT Mesra, I joined a startup at NSRCEL, IIM-B. In no time, I worked my way up, learning what it takes to build something from scratch. We didn’t scale into a unicorn, but we built something meaningful, hitting a few crores in revenue – and more importantly, I discovered that my true passion lies in building from the ground up. Another realisation that I got a little early on - I love giving back. Whether it was sharing my learnings while building startups at IIM-B, helping early-stage founders create playbooks, or rallying to get my alma-mater placed during the brutal Covid placement season, these moments have defined me just as much as my work has. Then came a plot twist: B2B SaaS. Working with Almabase and Outplay introduced me to a world that felt like my next big frontier. Since then, I’ve had the chance to help hundreds of founders build SDR teams and crack their US GTM strategy (specially ABM) – not by sticking to conventional playbooks, but by rethinking the box entirely. Watching teams light up with, “Wait, we can actually do that?” is still one of my favorite moments in any room. One of those serendipitous moments in life was meeting Sri – my co-founder at Shifu Ventures / Co-Founder of Almabase. What started as a boss-employee relationship turned into an amazing founder-relationship. Together, we’ve taken big swings, from traveling across India to uncover untold B2B stories to co-building B2B AI-first companies through Shifu. The journey has been unexpected, and that’s what makes it exciting. What am I upto now? With Shifu Ventures, I’m on a mission to empower Indian entrepreneurs to build AI-first B2B companies that can compete—and win—on the global stage. Through Shifu Studio, we co-build B2B AI startups to help them scale profitably to $10M ARR, tackling GTM, AI, hiring, product, and fundraising challenges head-on. With Shifu Foundation (A Not-for-Profit), we’re inspiring and enabling a new wave of Tier 2 & Tier 3 Indian founders by providing the network, knowledge, and support they need to build world class B2B AI companies from India to the Globe. ----- For me, health and family always come first – that’s my mantra. Work is just one part of my life, and keeping it that way is a conscious choice. One of the ways I prioritize health is through sports.
