• Michelin Routing Machine is an attempt to provide an improved version or Michelin legacy Routing i.e. ViaMichelin.
• Roles :
• Enhancement of features to the Michelin’s Road navigation product “Michelin Routing Machine” in all-round way:
• Performance profiling, assessment, optimization of python code by assessing numerous alternatives like using LMDB database for key-value data, reducing disk reads by using Shared memory in python, flattening recursive calls, reducing disk reads
• Code review, peer review of python code, suggesting architectural improvements, bringing up recommendations on micro level to standardise flow in order to accommodate the relevant design patterns.
• Defining and Modifying YAML OpenAPI specs for client systems and maintaining the standard to avoid ambiguity and maintaining simplicity and clarity.
• Working closely with DevOps and QA teams to define and validate the CICD setup during AWS to Azure migration
