  • As the Primary Technology Integrator at Oberoi International School, I work with all of the students from Nursery to Grade 5. With six divisions per grade level, an average of twenty students per class, and eight grade levels, I have close to 960 students. My responsibilities include working with all members of the school community, whether they are parents, students, or staff to integrate technology in a meaningful and authentic way.
  • With staff, I offer professional development to improve their technical abilities while meeting with homeroom teachers to plan for their units of inquiry. We look for opportunities to align their learning objectives with technology use to augment student success.
  • With parents, I run sessions on acceptable use, digital citizenship, e-portfolios, and work to develop their trust in the school and it's approach to technology integration. I serve as their primary point of contact for any challenges they face with our online portfolio tool, Seesaw.
  • Working with students is arguably the most important aspect of my job. I deliver lessons independently in their classrooms, within any of the primary grade levels. Often the homeroom teacher or single-subject teacher work with me to deliver content to students in a co-teaching model.
  • The rest of my time is spent researching, planning, and creating content to be used within the school.
