Courses like optimization, business analytics, machine learning, data mining and production scale big data implementation has motivated him to incline his career more towards applied AI, converting business problems to data science problems and identifying most optimal solutions to save million dollars for the employer. Divye previously worked in a startup -- Tag-bin -- founded by IIT Roorkee alumni where he was Partner and Vice President of Product, also responsible for business management, company operations, finance and team building. He worked on a product -- Eazespot, using machine learning combined the most relevant tasks, chat and mails on a single UI. He joined Snap-deal after undergraduate studies as a Business Analyst where he worked in the supply chain product team to build customer promise engine using classification algorithms. Achieving 94% accuracy the model could predict a range of dates during which the order will be delivered. Divye did his under graduate degree from IIT Roorkee in 2015 in production and industrial engineering. His internship with ITC, Bachelors thesis project and discussions with alumni motivated him to pursue data science as his career path. He considers the result of "Robocon" his biggest achievement during college in which he led a team of 25 engineers at a national level robotic competition. The team ended AIR 5th with best aesthetic robot award. This was the best performance of IIT Roorkee in the competition since its inception 6 years ago. In his free time, Divye likes to play flute, listen to music, go on road trips, solve puzzles, play pickleball, table tennis, badminton. He has complete 2 trips of over 3000 miles within US and many more to come.
