• Worked on a project to analyze and identify network speed bottlenecks in high-resolution media streaming.
• Designed test cases involving multiple encoding formats (H.264, HEVC) to encode raw 4K footage. Used FFmpeg and custom Python scripts to automate the encoding and transmission process.
• Measured and logged latency, jitter, packet loss, and throughput across multiple scenarios. Also compared CPU usage and encoding times for different codecs.
• The work contributed to a departmental study on optimizing media delivery for constrained networks, such as in remote learning or telemedicine environments.
