• As an Engineering leader at Alexa, I manage the Alexa Calendar and Email platform and services that power family coordination assistant experiences supporting millions of customers across 12 countries with geo-distributed teams(35+ org) in US and Canada.

• Single Threaded Owner for Alexa Location Domain and built a full stack team from ground up. I lead engineering(Full stack), QA teams working on Geo location, Geo fencing, Device location & personalized Address Book to support all Alexa enabled devices and Skills.
• Alexa location Domain is uniquely placed to build foundations(primitives) as well as experiences. Location is cross cutting across various domains. The primitives which include backend APIs and front end UI components will be used by other stakeholders(domains & skills) for building their functionality. Location Domain also builds experiences through voice and UI.
• Successfully launched 3 location features for Alexa in 2018 -
• 1. Location Based Routines - The ability to trigger a Routine when a customer's mobile phone enters or leaves a physical location. For example, a customer can turn off their lights when they leave home.
• 2. Location Based Reminders - The ability to remind a customer when a customer's mobile phone enters or leaves a physical location. For example, a customer can set a Reminder to pick buy milk when they enter a grocery store.
• 3. Address Book - The ability to create labelled places like Home, Work, Kid's school etc for the customer to use them while interacting with Alexa. For example, you can set a location based reminder through Voice like this. "Alexa, remind me to call Mom when I reach Home"

• ZenMedia solutions is a start up company. I worked on various open source components. They include Liferay,Joomla,Darwin,Alembik,VLC,Red5,etc. We built an application named 'ShootnShare' . The aim of this project is to bring convergence across the three platforms PC,mobile and IPTV. A video/image uploaded from either a mobile/PC should be able to get viewed on all the three devices. Our focus was mainly on mobile and IPTV customers.
• After the success of ShootnShare I have designed and implemented a highly scalable and robust distributed Content Management System (CMS) . The aim of this project is to take away the responsibility of managing content from the application developers and provide them simple APIs. The features of CMS include distributed Content storage based on storage policies, Search Engine, etc.
