• Led payment risk charter, managing all the money that moves "in" and "out" of Uber, building distributed, scalable, resilient engineering ecosystem to monitor, track and control money transactions across all UBER product family (Transportation, EATS, Uber for Business) using intuitive, adaptive and cognitive capabilities that caters to unique payment services, regulations, requirements across the globe and a team of highly skilled & collaborative group of engineers who make all this happen at scale.
• Built the team from scratch, hiring top-talent in bay-area across levels, groomed engineers to grow in to senior tech-lead, manager roles. Established strong collaboration between product, engineering and ops, working with global x-functional teams. I am also a Bar Raiser at Uber.
• In my earlier role at Uber, I was founding member and tech-lead on Financial Intelligence team in 2015 and later led the team that built Uber's first real-time rider incentives platform.

• Tech lead for VMware vRealize Code Stream (https://www.vmware.com/products/vrealize-code-stream). I was part of the product from the inception phase and contributed to multiple product concepts, initial design, development, deployment.
• Highlights:
• Conceptualized, design and developed various product concepts including Artifact Management for CI/CD, DevOps Debugging & Troubleshooting, Logging etc.
• Led JFrog Artifactory integration into the product - driving various integration, deployment strategies.
• Collaborated with customers and helped them streamline their CI/CD model to be more efficient.
• Designed and implemented distributed execution engine for the product from scratch and eventually replacing VMwares' proprietary workflow engine - with more flexible and scalable solution.
• Filed multiple patents on the product.

• Previously worked as backend engineer in vFabric Application Director - now known as vRealize Application Services (https://www.vmware.com/support/pubs/vrealize-automation-pubs.html). It enables application provisioning in hybrid cloud infrastructure. I am part of the core development team working on Java/J2EE technologies, Spring Integration, Web Services, Message Brokers etc. I am in complete love with architectural design and coding and like more of it coming to me with increased responsibilities and thoroughly enjoy my work.

• Led the team responsible for building applications for commit criteria workflow for development community across Cisco. The application simplifies complex workflow problems and provides simplified way to interact and manage various workflows under one hood. It integrates with multiple systems.
• Completely owned platform infrastructure defining the project structure, layers, models, api's.
• Created new SOA based platform to integrate with new and existing systems It provides an orchestration layer under unified Api's.
• Service enabled solutions with XSD (JAX-B) based model design with Spring/CXF frameworks.
• Used OSGi (servicemix) container to deploy and manage services.
• Implemented workflow using BPM Activiti and a home grown Jenkins framework as an execution engine for remote task execution.
• Spring/JPA (Hibernate) based backend system for business layer.
• Complete test driven development, created the test framework for all the layers on the backend system using Spring/Junit 4 and continuous integration system using Jenkins.

I led of team of 6 engineers and my responsibilities included requirement gathering, estimation, driving client workshops, high/low level design, team tracking, code reviews, mentoring. I worked on various J2EE technologies while working on the project viz. Spring, Hibernate, CXF, Struts, Velocity Templates etc.

• I worked as developer in CAD-IT for Lehman Brother, Mumbai. This was a very short span where I got to work on an application that was used by Legal Division of Lehman. I got to work on framework to interact with any Db seamlessly. The core technologies were Java/J2EE, Oracle, Db2, Composite.

• I joined Cognizant as ELT (Freshers) and later on worked as Programmer Analyst specifically in CRM domain for various clients. Major technology areas of my work were Java/J2EE, Web Services. I had an opportunity to build the complete Web Service framework. I also worked on Struts, EJB, Web Logic etc.
• Along with the project assignments, I also got an opportunity to "Mentor Freshers" based on my Java technical expertise, with an experience of less than an year and got appreciation from the trainee batch.
