👋 Hello! I’m Ayush Mahajan, a passionate, diligent and committed backend engineer with nearly 4 years of experience in the industry. I specialize in building robust and scalable backend systems and guiding projects from conception to successful rollout. I’m part of the Checkout Team at Zepto, where we ensure a smooth transition from cart to successful order creation and give you a seamless payment experience. In the past, I’ve had the pleasure of working with the User Onboarding Team at Slice and handling various services at Trell. Over the years, I’ve honed my skills in a diverse tech stack including JavaScript, Node.js, Python, GoLang, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, AWS, Kafka, and Redis. My passion lies in distributed systems, and I’m always eager to learn and enhance my skills in this area. I derive satisfaction from promoting cooperation among coworkers and other members of a team, keeping communication lines open as well as incorporating varying views that will improve what I know while at the same time retaining childlike admiration as I always want to know how different things work for continuously piquing my intellectual curiosity. I hold a degree in Computer Science from Manipal University Jaipur. A highlight of my life was representing my country at an international engineering competition at NASA.
