Modern Checkout : Elevated traveler experience while significantly reducing operational cost associated with maintaining 3 separate checkout systems by developing a universal checkout platform across multiple B2C travel brands. Built an IOT platform to improve customer’s wifi experience by offering a new set of capabilities such as internet and home security, digital detox, parental controls, mesh extender and router management based on advanced analytics. This platform is a cloud native and a multi-tenant SaaS solution to serve more than 10 European countries with more than 30 million devices.
Application is designed with Microservices architecture using Domain Driven Design with Hexagonal (ports-adapter) pattern and API first approach. Application is developed using Java (language), Springboot (framework), Spring Cloud (Sleuth, Config Server, Zuul, Hysterix), MongoDB (NoSQL), MySQL (SQL), Redis (Cache), RabbitMQ / Kafka (Message broker), Gitlab (version control), Maven/Gradle (Build tool), Sonar (Code Quality), Jenkins (CI), Spinnaker, Docker & Kubernetes (CD), AWS (Cloud), Helm charts & Terraform (Devops), Lambda (serverless), Service Mesh (Canary Deployment). Application is used by end customers via iOS and Android mobile Apps and used by network operators with Web UI developed in Angular.
Implemented Data adaptures to capture different metrics from devices and push to the data lake for predictive analytics. This helps in proactive maintenance of devices, hence reducing truck toll cost.
Implemented Quality principles : Observability (Monitoring, Alerting, Distributed Tracing), Privacy (PII data as per GDPR), Security (SSO, Auth 2.0, Digital Certificates), Resilience (Circuit Breaker), Reliability, Performance, Fault Tolerance, High Availability, etc. Used tools such as AppDynamics/Sentry for APM, ELK stack for Log aggregation and analysis, Prometheus and Grafana for monitoring, Redash for DB queries.
Developed plug-play generic Test Automation framework for API and WebUI testing. It acts as a wrapper on top of Selenium and Rest Assured, and integrates with Cucumber(BDD) and TestNG. This framework assists in quick Regression testing and has been open sourced.
