In my role of Software Development Engineer my responsibility was to design and built the whole backend for various projects :
1. Workflow Rule Engine - Designed and developed a configuration-based system to automate business workflows. The system supported a UI to build update workflows on the fly. Multiple OYO flagship products were able to scale to different geographies using this system. It is a totally distributed and work around various technologies which include Java, Spring Boot, Redis, MongoDB.
2. YO! OYO’s Realtime Assistant - Developed a mobile web bot a product(Backend) decoupled from the OYO App. This bot helps us to reach all our guests including OTA’s and provides all the necessary information for booking and at the same time, it helped us to reduce the telecom and headcount costs. 3. Samwaad Microservice - Designed and developed a chat platform. The system is a layer between consumer products and external vendors where our chat agents are logged in to entertain end-users issues and currently used in Yo!. The system supported the WebSocket and HTTP protocol and can be scaled horizontally very easily. The technologies used Kafka, Spring Boot, Websockets (SockJs, stomp ).
