• ▫ Joined the Certification Authority business unit of the company in its start-up phase till reaching 5 Mln active customer certificates, managing both technical (infrastructure security) and governance security aspects in a regulated sector (AgID compliance).
• ▫ Security solution architect, within a DevOps context, involved on the design and deployment of large-scale PKI services, TSA (Time Stamping Authority), CNS (National Service Card), SSL, digital signature and other X.509 certificates issuing environments. In charge of plan, design and implementation of highly available time critical IT systems (based on Unix, Windows, Sun Solaris OS and virtualized using Solaris Containers and VMware ESXi), network security infrastructures (Firewalls, VLANs, VPN, IDS, IPS, DLP, UTM), log/security event management (SIEM) and strong authentication systems (mainly based on PKI and OTP tokens).
• ▫ Supported the extension of ISO 27001 certification scope to the Certification Authority services without any observations/concerns from the auditor.
• ▫ Involved as security SME in pre and post engagement support to sales force (requirements review and customer support after delivery of technical solutions) and production of technical proposals in response to RFP/RFI and tender bids.
