• As an SDM, I led below initiatives from Finance and Transportation domain
• 1) Classification of Amazon products - I led a team which had the responsiblity of classifying each Amazon Product in a specific category (clothing, medicine, food etc.) so that appropriate sales tax can be applied. One part of the team was performing this classification using pre-defined rules that were stored in a tree based structure. Then these rules were applied on data extracted from product images. The other part of the team was focusing on developing ML models that performs classifications using pre-trained data and removing the requirement to define rules
• 2) Master Data Management (MDM) - This app provided ability for different fincance team to store their financial metadata in a secure manner
• 3) Invoices classification - This is a big data processing application which was categorizing invoices in a different buckets so that processing them becomes seamless and finding anamolies in a systematic manner. Rules were defined using MVEL and the app was processing nearly ~100M invoices every week
• 4) Analoly detection using ML - This team was responbile for finding anamolies through heurisrics and deviations that were observed in invoices provided by vendors

• I led the development of WorkDocs Backup application which provided the ability to back local content to remote on a periodic manner and restore content on a different machine after primary machine failure. I owned the development of backed services, website and the native Win and Mac app.

• Worked on AWS WorkDocs
• I primarily contributed to developing and releasing WorkDocs Native application for Mac, which is a network Drive. This provides the ability to users to work on their cloud content through local FileSystem.
• Separately, I also owned and developed features for both Win and Mac (primary ones are handling ephermal files, locks on file system operations, updating kernel extension on Mac updates, simplifying file system operations handling, reducing the # of operations to cloud, conflict resolution between remote and local operations etc.)

• During this time, I worked on enhancing the capabilities on PayeeCentral app and brought in the visibility to surface vendor invoices and their lifecycle visibility on Portal. I worked on ensuring that data for invoices from 65 different geogrophies, which amounted to close to 100M invoices at that time is properly shown on portal.

Feb 2014 – Sep 2015 · 1 yr 7 mos

• I worked in a team which developed PayeeCentral Appliacation from scratch. This app enabled non-retail vendor to manage their banking and tax information on their own and not requiring them to work over emails with business POCs. It enabled banking information to be maintained for 40 geogrophies. This app also provided the vendors the ability to raise their concerns with busines analysts and resolve them in a seamless manner.

• I worked on developing features and enhancements for hotels booking (prioritized listing, near by recommendations, smart filters through cards).
• Separately, I worked on developing a generic platform to make makemytrip hotel inventory avaialbe to 3P partners through APIs and make them available as a whitelabel solution. I also worked on optimization to fetch hotels from different provides in a fast manner.

• I worked on an application called Depotpoint. I developed autimated tests for E2E flow for the application using Selenium. I also developed features to bring on extended visibility to users.
