During my 20 year professional career, I have led Data Science teams in solving a diverse set of business problems related to supply chain planning, demand forecasting, network optimization, transportation optimization, inventory planning, retail fraud and abuse prevention, geocoding, fintech etc. Driving business value through innovation and customer focus has been the priority through my career. I have delivered solutions with 100+ Million USD impact. I have also authored 12 US patents (8 granted) and 12 peer reviewed papers and have led research collaboration with top academic institutions. I have broad range of leadership experience. I have provided hands-on leadership to data science teams across the full project lifecycle: from idea generation and deep research to implementation. I also have deep corporate leadership experience: having led the building of an 80+ employee R&D organization in India from scratch; and having worked on a 5-member leadership team to set up a 500+ employee Global Tech Center in India. I have worked across continents, and have worked for a 125+ year old company and a mature start-up. I view myself as a business-focused innovator, a technical leader and mentor.
