• Broke down a giant Monolith into microservices, taking ownership for planning, execution and delivery for Campaign Management
• Campaign Management owns core platform actions such as bidding, budgeting, job grouping and serves as the source of truth for majority of Joveo's business use cases
• Founding member of the recruitment committee which led the engineering scale-up from 20 engineers to 130+ engineers.
• Conducted 100+ interviews for a variety of candidates ranging from SDE1s to Sr Architects
• Created interview questions for Joveo and audited peer's questions for calibration
• Trained newer interviewers through the lead/shadow approach
• Took part in many debriefing sessions to analyse candidate fitment
• Lobbied for and delivered on a switch from NoSQL (MongoDB) to SQL (Postgres) building on the company's vision for data warehousing and data access patterns
• Integrated with Apache Kafka pipelines for auditing and warehousing
• Led 25+ Sprints with a consistent completion percentage of above 90%
• Delivered 5 product led incremental platform features with minimal delays and bugs

• Trained 21 new engineers across levels in Scala fundamentals via this process

• Published Joveo's opinionated Scala best practices to be followed
• Founding engineer in a cross team engineering initiative to SDK-ify the platform
• Goal was to make the platform more testable
• Contributed to reorienting the approach in line with latest standards
• Designed the SDK to be extensible and robust, with special focus on abstraction and error handling
• Over 23 engineers have contributed on my abstractions over 1.5 years without needing to modify the base
• Onboarded 3 freshers into the team and trained them to contribute and eventually take over

• Designed an approach to safely manage major code migrations in production environments
• Adopted strangler-fig pattern of facade API layers coupled with smart config based routing
