• Built multilevel classification models ingesting item supplier, description and other purchase-related data to classify the purchases up to 4 levels of granularity. The model would also aggregate, cleanse, and analyze global corporate purchasing or spending data in order to reduce procurement costs and improve efficiency. Integrated Google Translate API to translate the non-English portion of the vocabulary as the data was global.
• Financial data forecasting: Delivered proof-of-concept for financial data forecasting capabilities. The forecasts gave insights into how internal and global economic factors affect sales and revenue. Also Performed feature engineering and correlation analysis, and built product-level DNN models for GCP ML engine deployment.
• Healthcare & Life Sciences: Collaborated with a client on a Prescription Behavior Surveillance System. Performed ETL and built out logic using Python Scripts (with multiprocessing capability wherever possible) for computing different Prescription Drugs related metrics at Patient Level for three US states. Assessed limitations of working within the technical environment of the client with suitable recommendations.

• The goal of one of my projects was to improve the causal understanding of landslides in the people living in landslide-prone areas. I developed a mathematical model on landslide risks and the resulting injury and fatality. This model was used to design a web-based Interactive Landslide Simulator (ILS), and it helps in educating the community as well as the government for adequate disaster management preparedness.
• The other project I worked on involved tracking patient journeys for analytics in the pharmaceutical industry. The aim was to generate patterns in real-time data by using efficient pattern mining algorithms. We worked on improving the Apriori algorithm by using bloom filters and cuckoo filters to eliminate candidate set generation, a computationally expensive step in the algorithm
