Worked on the Product Aggregator and Recommendation service for 3-4 months to develop features that facilitated other teams in obtaining the required data in one place. After that, I worked on Pack Service, a catalog service used to manage the journey of product creation from the backend to the PDP page. Simultaneously, I worked on Ajio Dhan, a payment service that processes the payment of an order and manages its return and refund journey. Additionally, it provides credit-related services to Ajio B2B users. Among the features and modules I have worked on, a few are listed below:
Product Data Aggregation: Developed Kafka consumers to listen to multiple topics and aggregate data. Used Elasticsearch to index this aggregated data, enabling efficient search queries.
Cataloguing: Developed Kafka consumers, APIs, and cron jobs to manage the product creation journey. Made the process asynchronous to enhance system robustness and performance.
AjioDhan: Worked on the refund journey, writing cronjobs and integrating external APIs and webhooks for processing. Managed the migration of merchants from an older platform to a new one, which allowed for increased user traffic and business growth.
