• I specialize in designing and constructing highly scalable, distributed backend systems for Swiggy Partner Web/App, focusing on optimizing the restaurant experience. My work revolves around crafting solutions that streamline restaurant onboarding, enhance serviceability on the Swiggy platform, manage order relays for over 1.5 million orders per day, and drive restaurant growth. • Some key projects delivered during my tenure in Vendor Engineering include:
• 1. Self Serve Discounting for Restaurants: I led the design and development of the Self Serve Discounting product, empowering restaurant partners to independently set up discounts via the Partner App. This feature allows partners to monitor discount coverage for their restaurants effectively.
• Honored with "Swiggstar Team Award" for exceptional tech contributions in this project.
• 2. Bad Rated Order Resolution: In this role, I designed and implemented the backend for the restaurant rating dashboard. I introduced features that provide valuable insights into restaurant ratings and item ratings within the Partner App. Furthermore, I oversaw the implementation of AWS Batch jobs to handle the ingestion of high volumes of restaurant and item ratings data, ensuring that it flows seamlessly into DynamoDB for analysis.
• 3. Swiggy Direct: I played a key role in the creation of Swiggy Direct, an innovative product that empowers partners to market their restaurants through smart links on social media platforms. These links redirect users to the nearest serviceable outlet, optimizing the customer experience and driving traffic directly to their menus on Swiggy.

• 7. Worked on multiple RCAs, P0 Production Bugs, delivered KTs and helped new joiners to get started with vendor engineering services.
• 8. Implemented UTs/SLTs for increasing code coverage, service level logging on Logman, built alerting and monitoring dashboards on Grafana, NewRelic to monitor traffic, infra, api throughputs and latencies.
• 9. Honoured with Most Valuable Player(MVP) Award in Jan'22 for displaying exemplary ownership in delivering GST Compliance Project well before deadlines and for the contributions in making Swiggy GST Compliant as per the new GOI Mandates.
