• Working on the Data Platform team which is responsible for collecting, processing and aggregating logs generated by hulu’s website and mobile apps. I worked on all the components in batch and real time pipelines.
• Built a distributed job scheduler used to schedule Hadoop jobs using Zookeeper, Curator, Scala and Akka.
• Built an application similar to Apache Sqoop to get metadata from different types of data sources maintained by different teams and ingest into Hbase.
• Was responsible for bug fixing, patching and upgrading Hive, Presto and Hadoop at Hulu.
