I was among the top 50 out of the 3000 students who participated country-wide and was further given an opportunity to intern with Eklavya IITB.
I created a reusable Grid Component Library for the Open edX (MOOC) platform that could be leveraged to design any kind of board game assessments like Chess, Crossword puzzles, Sudoku, etc. The generic library integrates with the XBlock SDK, providing a platform for the teachers to create and customize grids where the students can submit their solutions. The problems and solutions are stored in the EdX DB, which are further utilized to track students' progress.
Starting the project from scratch with some research on the open EdX platform and XBlock, created the library, tested the library with one test-case (Chess), re-designed the library to make it more generic, and tested the library again with another test case (CrossWord Puzzle) proving the library will work for every other test case.
