This role was about bringing best practices of software development for the JioMeet Platform. He coordinated various engineering efforts in the Platform team. Worked on next-gen products for Jio which includes Jio Glass, JioMeet SDK, Integration with MSFT Teams and JioMeet Android, Mac, Win and iOS applications from scratch.
1. Built a team from the ground up consisting of 30 members including Software developers of different clients (iOS, Web, Android, Mac and Windows), Backend Engineers (Nodejs), product managers and QA.
2. Successfully built JioMeet 2.0 where we transitioned to a new media engine in our JioMeet product across platforms.
3. Ensure technical deliverables meet exacting standards of timeliness and quality while working in fast-paced environments; facilitate development that drives month-over-month healthy customer acquisition rate.
4. Designed high-level architectures and approaches before building solutions that are maintainable, extendable and scalable.
5. Mentored team members by holding regular 1:1 meetings with my reports fortnightly or monthly basis as required.
6. Lead technical solution designs with the entire team and am a sounding board for anything tech-related. I work closely with our team’s product manager and designer to refine stories, come up with roadmaps and coordinate with stakeholders.
